Join our club. Exclusive press briefings for cleantech and renewable energy businesses
Cleantech Club editors' briefings
The Cleantech Club is an ideal way for your business to raise its profile, gain valuable media coverage and network with journalists, analysts and other businesses in the cleantech industry.
Journalists are constantly looking for news, features and engaging content for their publications or online news. Like you, they are often pressed for time. Cleantech Club brings innovative companies and journalists together in one place, allowing you to share your news and gain valuable ‘earned media’ coverage.
If you’ve got an important news announcement to make, an interesting case study to share or simply wish to provide a background briefing to some of the UK’s leading trade journalists then the Cleantech Club is the ideal format.
Held each quarter at the historical Royal Institution in central London, we bring together editors and journalists from a variety of print and online publications that are keen to spend a few hours learning about the latest developments in this rapidly growing sector. In the past we’ve covered topics such as ‘smart grid’ and ‘keeping the lights on’ and 'cleantech innovation'.
Following a short 10-15 minute presentation, you will then have the opportunity to network with journalists in the Royal Institution’s informal and friendly atmosphere over a delicious buffet lunch.
Some of the companies that have presented at our Cleantech Club include:
• National Grid
• Reactive Technologies
• SEaB Energy
• Green Energy Options
• Ceramic Fuel Cells
• Seawater Greenhouse
• Kelda Showers
• Solar Aid
Depending on the chosen theme, we invite journalists, analysts and reporters from leading trade press titles to attend the Cleantech Club and meet you in person. Editors from a variety of publications regularly attend our events and include; Solar International, Batteries & Energy Storage Technology, Energy Management, Energy Live News, Modern Power Systems, Professional Engineering, Tech Week, Carbon Brief, New Power, Cleantech Investor, Engineering & Technology, Frost & Sullivan and Modern Building Services.

Cleantech Club feedback
This is what journalists say about Cleantech Club:
"Cleantech Club is a useful way to find out the latest developments from a number of companies simultaneously. I found the informal yet professional seminar-type setting allowed discussion to flourish, which was a refreshing change from the usual sit-and-listen format"
Tim Probert – Batteries & Energy Storage
"Cleantech Club delivered a day packed full of detailed topical presentations that successfully explored a breadth of key industry sectors that were very much integral to our publication, Energy Management. The cross section of industry focuses from waste management to IoT gave a broad insight into the working dynamics of some of the cutting edge developments being made and will certainly be of great interest to our readers."
Michelle Winny – Energy Management
"If I accepted every invitation to a press event I'd never spend any time in the office. Cleantech Club is informal and friendly. It allows me to spend a few hours gathering ideas and content for the website and our monthly publication. It gives me the chance to meet companies that are developing some truly innovative engineering projects that will appeal to our readers."
Ben Sampson – Professional Engineering
"I was keen to hear more about smart meters and smart grids. A good event with some interesting speakers. Please put me down on your mailing list for future press events."
Priyanka Shrestha – Energy Live News
"The Cleantech Club event was a great opportunity to meet those involved in exciting new projects in the Cleantech sector. In all there were four presentations each of about 20 minutes, which I feel was about right, just enough to get all the important information but without leaving you feeling overwhelmed! The intimate set up also allowed for ample time for questions and answers, and plenty of opportunity to meet with presenters following the event."
Jade Fell – E&T
