There have been some changes going on behind the scenes at Resonates, and it’s time to let you know about them!
In May 2026, we became part of the Saline Group, a growth agency that works with founders and businesses across the green tech, clean tech, maritime, energy and environmental sectors. Together, we’re creating a new integrated growth and communications consultancy that brings together the deep knowledge and specialist tools businesses in these sectors need to drive revenues and pipeline, raise their profile, and unlock investment potential.
Over the last 25 years of running Resonates, I’ve watched a pattern play out across many of our clients: the best business results come from the companies that can successfully combine all the elements of strategic communications, strong commercial execution, and the right long-term business planning.
I’m proud to have supported more than 150 clients with strategic communications over the years I’ve managed Resonates, but I’ve also wanted to be able to offer more of the wider operational and business support services. Both for the benefit of the businesses we work for, and to see clean and climate technologies make a positive difference to the future.

Resonates joins two existing Saline Group teams to create an end-to-end agency for business growth and success.
Saline Business Services
A full-circle growth partner helping business to build pipeline, gain sales traction and grow revenues faster. The team has deep roots in the sector, and brings together strategic planning and practical execution through a team of fractional marketing, sales and business development experts. The Business Services team is headed by managing director Nicki Smith.
Resonates
A strategic communications partner working with businesses to strengthen their brand and elevate their profiles. The team brings together PR, marketing, content and social media expertise. It works with with a long-established network of journalists and influencers to get stories into the places that matter. I continue to head up the Resonates team.
Saline Ventures
A specialist venture studio combining funding with hands-on operational support. The team helps early-stage founders strengthen their proposition, positioning and commercial models in order to attract investment, including from established relationships with angel and corporate investors. The Ventures team is headed by managing director Tim Smith.
For existing customers, there’s no change to your agreement with us – you will continue to be served by the same teams under the same terms. But you do now have seamless access to the Saline Group’s expanded capabilities as needed, on a fractional or project basis.
I continue to be involved in managing Resonates day-to-day, and I’m also now a specialist advisor on the Saline Group board. I’m delighted that as a group we now have all the growth, PR and marketing resources our clients need to achieve their goals.
