Operating in a growth market with offices in the UK, North America, Europe and Australia, Codelocks wanted to build consistent brand awareness and trust across all of its international markets. Working from an established domestic PR presence, Resonates’ task was to build on that solid foundation.
With Codelocks operating across four continents, Resonates developed a coordinated global PR programme designed to build brand awareness and trust in every region. Rather than applying a one-size-fits-all approach, we focused on understanding the nuances of each market and tailoring our activity to fit, while also ensuring Codelocks’ messaging was both globally consistent and locally relevant.
Central to our work was a programme of thought leadership content crafted for each of Codelocks’ regions. We work with its subject matter experts to develop articles that address the specific challenges and interests of audiences in each country and the specific markets they serve.
We also prepared dedicated press releases for simultaneous launch across each region, ensuring that Codelocks’ product news and milestones were communicated in a way that was timely and relevant to local journalists and readers. Where required, we managed the translation of press releases to reduce friction for journalists and improve the potential for impact of every release.
Underpinning our content activity was an international media relations operation. We built and maintained comprehensive global media lists across Codelocks’ markets, monitored international opportunities for coverage – such as forward features and requests for expert commentary – and ensured Codelocks remained front of mind by sustaining strong relationships with relevant journalists across its international target sectors.
