Water adds a degree of complexity to any project. Port, marine and inland projects all combine hostile working environments with factors such as tight tidal and operational windows, demanding clients and – increasingly – the pressure to electrify and decarbonise. IDNOs now deliver a large share of new and upgraded grid connections to projects ranging from data centres to port electrification – often faster and more flexibly than incumbents.
