Design engineer Equitus appoints Resonates to engage the sustainable mobility and hydrogen sectors

Equitus Design Engineering and Innovations Limited, a Manchester, London, and Bangalore-based design engineering firm, has selected Resonates, the specialist PR and marketing agency for innovators, to create bottom-up messaging for its hydrogen and sustainable mobility offering and build awareness of its leading capabilities in this growing sector.

Equitus Engineering provides end-to-end support through the design development, design validation, certification, and assessments of products central to the growing hydrogen, battery electric vehicle, and sustainable mobility economy, as per relevant industry standards such as EC 79, ECE-R134, ISO10961 amongst others.

From battery racks to hydrogen gas cylinders and beyond, the Equitus team helps sustainable mobility companies to reduce risk and accelerate the time to market for their products. Equitus’s Engineering Procurement and Construction Management (EPCM) capabilities complement the industrial design and engineering competencies across the critical minerals, battery and hydrogen lifecycle, across production, transportation, storage, and usage.

Resonates was appointed due to its pedigree in the hydrogen and EV markets, along with its 20-plus years of experience creating integrated marketing, PR, and digital campaigns for cleantech innovators. Resonates has worked with many EV and hydrogen clients, raising awareness of their brands in both rapidly growing and competitive markets. The team will help to amplify Equitus Engineering’s brand within the sustainable mobility sector, creating new messaging that engages decision makers in leading sustainable firms.

Commenting at the start of the engagement, founder and CEO of Equitus, Raam Shankar, said, “We came to Resonates because we want to raise awareness of our capabilities and clearly and concisely communicate how our solutions can help sustainable mobility firms reduce risk, cost, and accelerate their products’ time to market. Resonates’ knowledge of our target market, long history in the cleantech sector, and results they’ve delivered for other clients makes them the right choice for us.”

Chris Dace, Founder and CEO of Resonates, commented on the appointment saying, “We’re keen to get started on helping Equitus create messages that engage hydrogen and sustainable mobility clients. Equitus’ engineering services have so much to offer clients in these sectors, and coupled with our awareness-raising efforts, we are confident that more will soon recognise that too. Through targeted messaging, tactical campaigns, and awareness building, we elevate Equitus Engineering’s profile within the industry.
